Due to security considerations at UNESCO, all participants must register prior to the conference to gain access to the site. All participants, including speakers, must pay the registration fees. Registration fees cover local conference costs not covered by grants, such as coffee breaks.

The conference registration fees are as follows:
Payment by March 15, 2010: US$300 for professionals, US$50 for students, US$150 for developing country participants.
Payment after March 15, 2010: US$400 for professionals, US$50 for students, US$200 for developing country participants.
Note to Students:
While the Global Oceans Conferences involve high-level leaders from all sectors, the Global Forum has a strong commitment to actively involve the young emerging leaders in the field. Thanks to the generous support of the French Government, we are able to lower the registration fee for students to US$50/37 Euros.
Students who have already registered by paying US$200 will be reimbursed US$150 at the conference.
